I was walking through the forest the other day with my family and came upon this long path that had trees lined up right to the edges and in some spots, linking together overhead like a canopy. We walked as I snapped shots off here and there and suddenly I realized there was a man and his dog walking off in the distance. As I got closer I took a couple photos of them walking.
Neither seemed to pay any attention to each other and were the dog a human, I might have even thought they were not together. They walked separately but plodding ever forward down the forest tunnel toward the light at the end.
I used some filters when post processing to limit the tones to violet, light blue and a couple shades of white and then added some grain, some exposure alteration and some contrast change. I am surprised how it came out and I have let to really decide if I like it a lot or not at all. It certainly is different from anything I’ve done before having normally stuck to the natural colours of the image or plain black and white with some exposure correction.
Thoughts would certainly be welcome.
