I was driving home from work and it was a cloudy, sunless winter day. The kind of day that just saps the energy from you. Mid February, winter, cold, dreary etc. I was looking off over the fields and just thought it looked so bleak and barren. I took a few photos of the landscape and decided I would try to enhance that bleak midwinter feeling with my post processing.
I tried to make the photo look like it was processed via the Opaltype method when photos were printed on sheets of white glass. They were often hand tinted with various colours which made them almost look like pastels or watercolours.
This is my attempt at that.
